Saturday we got up early. Today was a special day. Barry got to go play softball with two teams made up of different wards. Of course he had a lot of fun and Melody and Orrin played on the playground close by.
Melody is getting really creative. She started making all kinds of things in the sand at the playground and I am continually amazed at how fast my kids are growing up.
After the game we headed over to the Shurts’s house and Barry cleaned their windows.
There was a special event for the women in our ward to go to and Russel and John Shurts were watching all their kids at the same house and babysitting three extra, plus our two kids for a grand total of 13 children running all over.
There was an abundant supply of macaroni and cheese, and Mickey Mouse chicken nuggets. The kids had so much fun.
The only downfall of the day is that I misplaced Barry’s phone after confiscating it from Orrin.
