Sunday was spent in Jupiter at the ward building. After church the kids fell asleep and we drove around some more. We read part of a boating magazine that one of the sisters in the ward gave to us. Then we attended an award ceremony for three eagle scouts.
It was a fun filled and relaxing day as we got to know the members of the ward better. I’m sure it won’t be long before Barry is called into the scouts.
We have heard a lot about the patriarch here in Jupiter. He is an avid sailor and will go sailing at the drop of a hat, or so they say. He has owned one of his boats longer then Barry has been alive. He was around this Sunday, but he was busy preparing for the eagle scout ceremony .
We did get a chance to talk to his wife though. She does not like sailing as much but she had always wanted to go sky diving and her husband said,”but you have kids” so on her 70th birthday she said she was finally going to sky dive. She will be 75 years old this year, and she will be going again. Of course she invited Barry to come join her.
