Today we went to church in the Jupiter Ward. It is about a 30 minute drive north of us. It is going to be a great ward. Melody’s teacher is on the ball and she has a little church bag for primary.
Yesterday the Hopson’s boat broke from it’s mooring again. Thankfully they were aboard and anchored her. Barry was going to dive down and help them tie back into their mooring again today but they had it taken care of when we got back from church.
There are a couple members who live really close to us. Barry also talked to Alan (a gentleman we met at church today). He is a machinist and worked on desalinators. He said he could build one cheaper then we could buy one.
We made some great connections. They ward is very friendly and inquisitive about what we are doing.
The boat is slowly shaping up and every day I know we are doing the right thing for us and our kids. What an amazing experience we are having. I thank the Lord every day for our wonderful opportunity.
It has been a gratifying and enlightening experience to give away or sale almost everything we own, and get down to the basics of what we really need. There is so much less waste. Of time, energy, and material, I don’t get distracted into doing things that take me away from tending my children and doing the important things first.
There is more clarity and purpose in our lives. I love my life.
